Mollie is a payment provider based in the Netherlands and offers a wide range of payment methods popular across Europe with one single contract.

Mollie usually sends the incoming money to your bank account few days after the payment has been made. Because of the easy setup process, low processing fees, and a strong presence in Europe, Mollie is one of our recommended services for accepting online payments.

Payment provider: PayPal Recommended

It's barely necessary to introduce it: PayPal is one of the most well-known and popular payment methods world-wide. Many of our organizers offer PayPal as an option and customers chooes PayPal regularly for its simple checkout experience with many additional features such as an integrated rate payment option.

A lesser known feature is that PayPal offers PayPal Checkout, an all-around payment solution that allows you to process payments with SEPA direct debits, credit cards, and more than 10 regional payment methods such as eps or iDEAL. Your customer will not need to create a PayPal account to use this.

Payment provider: Your bank

The cheapest and most direct way is to have your customers pay directly to your bank account. You can therefore accept payments via classical wire transfer. pretix will instruct your customers to send the money to your bank account. Then, you can tell pretix which payments arrived. You can do this manually, semi-automatically by uploading a CSV bank statement from any bank, or even automatically for most European banks through our partner GoCardless.

In the SEPA area, we also support direct debit. If you enable this feature, you can regularly download a SEPA XML file from pretix that you can give to your bank to initiate the debit.
